Therapy Dog Reading Program - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
We work in conjunction with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system to assist in providing a reading program for children and students who may be having difficulty with reading. Therapy dogs visit the schools and allow the children to read to the dogs. This allows the students the opportunity to read to someone who will listen to every word and never be critical. The program has been in place for several months and has been a huge success!
